Citizens for the Advancement of Community Development (CACD) invites youth aged 15–24 to participate in an engaging and interactive Facilitated Youth Anti-Hate Dialogue and Community Engagement Session as part of the Stand Strong Initiative: Anti-Hate Education, Prevention, Resilience and Community Safety Programme.
This is more than just a discussion—it is an opportunity to have your voice heard, share your experiences, and work alongside other young people to explore practical solutions to issues such as hate, discrimination, bullying, prejudice, stereotypes, and social exclusion.
Facilitated by Peel District School Board Trustee Kathy McDonald, this interactive session will encourage open conversation, respectful dialogue, and collaborative problem-solving in a welcoming and inclusive environment. Together, participants will examine the challenges facing today’s youth and identify positive actions to strengthen schools, neighbourhoods, and communities.
Whether you are passionate about leadership, social justice, diversity, or inclusion, or want to make a difference, this session will provide valuable opportunities to develop your communication, leadership, critical thinking, and civic engagement skills while connecting with other youth committed to creating positive change.
